Dr. El-Ghoroury has been granted the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) by the PSYPACT Commission on 09/22/2022. (APIT# 11422)
PSYPACT is an interstate compact that offers a voluntary pathway for practice to qualified psychologists who wish to practice in multiple states. PSYPACT is designed to facilitate the practice of telepsychology across state boundaries. Dr. El-Ghoroury is licensed to practice psychology in Ohio and Virginia but can see telehealth patients in any PSYPACT state. (See https://psypact.site-ym.com/page/psypactmap for current participating jurisdictions) The PSYPACT Commission is the governing body of PSYPACT and is comprised of one representative from each PSYPACT state.
